Author Visit with Jen Porter-The Frozen (Adult Program)

Come and meet Jen Porter and be part of an interactive multimedia presentation about her dystopian science fiction novel, The Frozen. Learn behind-the-scenes facts, see the cinematic book trailer, participate in a “Who’s Gonna Be Frozen Today?” activity as well as live polls and a faith-challenging discussion, snack on “food cubes,” and have a chance to win free gifts! The presentation will be followed by a short Q&A session and a book signing.
Jen Porter is an award-winning educator and author who promotes faith and interdependence. Jen is also the CEO of The Special Needs Spa online, where she helps educators, caregivers, and service providers for those with autism and related special needs renew their creativity, increase their impact, and rediscover their lives. Jen and her husband Jim live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with family, fish, rescue dogs, plenty of ‘Dad’ jokes, and never enough Star Trek.
