Book Club – The Horizontal World

Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just looking to start a new hobby, our book club offers a great opportunity to share your thoughts, discover new authors, and meet fellow literature enthusiasts.

This month we’ll be discussing The Horizontal World: Growing Up Wild in the Middle of Nowhere by Debra Marquet.  Marquart reflects on the dangerous beauty of the North Dakota landscape and the singular pull the state seems to have on its residents, describing her experiences living there as a child and why she always found herself yearning to return to North Dakota no matter where she was living.
