Jo Alberda Art Demonstration

Jo will talk about how her photographs inspire her fiber work. She will show some of the ways in which she creates her fabrics and will do short demonstrations of block printing and ice dyeing. She will also show some examples of how she uses these fabrics in her artwork. This event will take place at the Sioux Center Public Library, and an exhibition of Jo’s photographs will be in the hallway of the Sioux Center library for the month of January.  Register on Sioux Center Public Library’s website here. Jo taught art at Dordt University for over 30 years. After retirement, she began to create her own work and enjoys exhibiting it in galleries and juried shows.
