Rein Vanderhill Art Class

Rein Vanderhill will be teaching a 2-evening painting workshop, October 14th and 16th, from 6:00-7:30 pm.
Rein taught painting at Northwestern College and now makes art for galleries in Omaha and Michigan. His work is representational acrylic paintings of botanical subjects and Landscapes primarily of the Lake Michigan dunes and shoreline.
The workshop will accommodate those with painting experience and those who are just beginning. Individual attention will be given to each participant as well as a painting demonstration. Basic elements of art will be explained including composition, color, value and contrast.
Participants need to bring a photo or at least three small objects to arrange a still life to paint. Canvases, brushes, and paints will be provided, however participants are welcome to bring their own.
