This fun, hands-on class will explore a variety of techniques and subjects which will build your watercolor skills. Each class will focus on a specific technique which will be demonstrated, practiced and then applied to a painting project. We will explore how to create textures with watercolor, how to simplify our subjects, how to use color effectively and much more.
This class is geared for students who have had some experience painting with watercolor and would like to continue their development as watercolor artists. The series of 6 classes with professional artist Judy Thompson is a bargain at $60. Registration opens on August 21.
Students will need to bring their own supplies to class:
Watercolor Paint/Palette
Water Container
Brushes
Sketchbook
Pencil/Eraser
Sharpie or Artist Pen
Painting Board
Masking Tape
Masking Fluid (Optional)
Small Spray Bottle.
